UK Education System:

There shouldn't be any confusion in understanding the UK education system. In our India, the British Education System is running. That's why we have the 3 Year and the 4 Year Bachelor courses in India. UK Education System is one of the best in the World, in terms of the Quality, Research work and the Institutional Infrastructure. 

Studying in the UK:

Some people have false impression that UK education is the costliest one. But, it is not true. The average Master's course fee is approximately 9 Lakhs per Annum, which is a 1 year course in UK. This way, the fee is restricted to approximately 9 Lakhs for the whole course. And the Student can save 1 precious year in his life to settle down. The academic requirement is only for the IELTS or Toefl test scores. Only very few Universities ask for GRE score for MSc programs and few for GMAT for MBA programs. But most of the Universities will do with IELTS or TOEFL scores alone. The minimum per-requisite for admission is around 60% in the Bachelor's degree. The UK degrees are world wide recognized ones. Back in India too these degrees have very good value, on par with any other Master's degree around the world. 

There are 2 types of Bachelor courses available in UK. They are the 3-year and the 4-year Bachelor courses. The average fee structure for a Bachelor's course is about Rs. 8-9 Lakhs per Annum. Only the IELTS or Toefl score is required apart from the percentage in the 10+2 class.

The available intakes in UK are September and January. Now, the next available intake is September 2013 intake. For which one has to start applying to the Universities at least 3-4 months in advance, along with the IELTS / Toefl score. Some Universities also have the May intake, which is of course a small intake, with only few Universities offering small number of courses.
